To whom it may concern;

We have received multiple threats from your company, based around an alleged debt from Southern Electric Gas.

You should now have been informed by Southern Electric Gas that we are not responsible for the alleged debt. Enclosed is a copy of a letter from that company that confirms this.

Despite our reasonable, sincere and polite attempts to disabuse you of your misconceptions, you continued to send threats to our address. In total, we received eight threatening letters from you. We believe that this constitutes criminal harassment under:

• Section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act 1970
• The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations Act 2009

We demand:

• Compensation for the stress that you have caused us, and the time that we have wasted in dealing with your strident incompetence. We suggest that 50 GBP per threat letter received is a reasonable amount. That totals 400 GBP for the 8 that we received. We will accept a cheque.
• That you remove all records of our name, address, and associated data from your computer systems, and written confirmation of this.
• That you remove any adverse credit markers that you may have set at any credit reference agencies, and written confirmation of this.
• A genuine and sincere apology.

We demand a response within 10 days of receipt of this letter. An unsatisfactory outcome will result in court action taken against you.
