Don't Fall In Love With MeWhen I was about twenty years old, I was driving to Westover snooker club in Bournemouth with my friend Alex. He was talking about his ex-girlfriends. At one point he said (and I'm paraphrasing); "I wish girls would stop falling in love with me!" About seven years later I was driving to work and the memory popped into my head. I decided to make the idea into a song, with lyrics to do with my interpretation/experience of the sentiment. It's a simple acoustic thing with a two-parent harmony. The intention was that at the end of 'Interstellar', you would hear a radio tuning itself and an acoustic guitar would fade in. I actually recorded and mixed this. It sounded very good, but this whole track and that mix was lost when my hard disk crashed. The end of this song also faded into the next one rather, too. The only copies I have left of this are; a) on a cassette tape that I recorded for listening to in my car, and b) a very poor recording that I initially did to see if the song would work. You can find the poor recording here.
